Job Introduction

One of our prestigious clients in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia is seeking an experienced IT & Solutions Managers — Teleradiology & Digital Health to lead the design, deployment, security and ongoing optimization of their teleradiology and digital health platforms. The role ensures secure medical-image exchange, reliable connectivity with healthcare partners, regulatory compliance, and high-availability clinical services.

Job Description

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead enterprise architecture for PACS, RIS, VNA, reporting systems, storage, and workflow engines.
• Manage clinical interoperability standards and interfaces (DICOM, HL7, FHIR, APIs) for secure data exchange with hospitals and imaging centres.
• Oversee deployment and maintenance of cloud / hybrid / on-prem infrastructure, secure connectivity (VPN, MPLS, encrypted channels) and capacity planning.
• Ensure seamless onboarding of new hospitals, imaging centres and clinical sites.
• Define scalability, load-balancing, redundancy and high-availability strategies.
• Develop and maintain cybersecurity and data protection frameworks aligned with HIPAA, Saudi PDPL, and international healthcare standards.
• Implement encryption, access controls, MFA/PAM, zero-trust principles, and logging/auditing.
• Lead disaster recovery, backup, business continuity planning (define RTO/RPO) and test recovery procedures.
• Conduct regular vulnerability assessments, penetration tests and forensic readiness planning.
• Drive IT project delivery: lead implementations for new services and large-scale client deployments.
• Create and maintain SOPs, technical manuals, runbooks and knowledge repositories.
• Manage vendor relationships (PACS/RIS vendors, cloud providers, cybersecurity tools) and licensing/ procurement.
• Monitor system performance, uptime, latency and ensure SLAs are met.
• Collaborate with radiologists and clinical teams to optimise workflows, PACS rules, routing and AI/advanced visualization integrations.
• Lead, mentor and manage IT engineering, NOC, and field support teams; run capability development and performance management.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Biomedical Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 6 years experience in IT systems, network & infrastructure management, preferably within healthcare/teleradiology.
• Demonstrated experience with PACS/RIS/VNA/DICOM/HL7 ecosystems and enterprise integration.
• Strong cybersecurity experience (MFA, PAM, encryption, vulnerability management, DR/BC).
• Proven track record in large-scale deployments, vendor management and cross-functional stakeholder engagement.
• Excellent documentation, communication and stakeholder-management skills.
• Ability to lead complex, mission-critical deployments under high-pressure conditions.
